A song about the ever-changing seasons of life, The Wheel draws on imagery from the world around to represent how life and times can change. The song was selected to compete for a spot in the largest song competition in Africa-the AfriMusic Song Contest earlier this year.
This is the second year in a row that Cherry Pill have had one of their songs selected to compete in the AfriMusic Song Competition. In 2019 their song “Take a Bow” also made the national selection list in 2018.
The song has a catchy opening riff complemented by Rory’s smokey voice and tight vocal harmonies the duo has become known for.
